Ruby was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas and is the second child born to Charles and Dorothy Goldman.  Ruby and her husband John now live in  Oklahoma.   She is a high school teacher.  Ruby has two children, Kristy Raylene and Bryan Wayne.  Kristy is married and also has two children.
