This section of our web site is still a work in progress. The
information contained here is substantial but it is still incomplete. Ruby
and Sandy have spent a good deal of time and money gathering this
information. They have done a wonderful job so far. As additional
information and or corrections need to be made we will endeavor to post those
changes to this web site as so as possible. The majority of this web site
is set up using standard HTML documents, however some of the more detailed
information may be in a PDF file format using Adobe Acrobat. The main
reason for using PDF files is three fold. One, they take up less space and
as a result load faster when browsing; Secondly, PDF files can be searched
for specific information such as a name or year; and finally, PDF files when
printed do not distort and print as they appear on the web site. If
you do not have Adobe Acrobat reader installed on your pc, you can down load it
free by clicking on the below link |
As with any family, there are two branches that you must begin with. In
our family it is the Goldman and Fowler names. Our father was Charles Ray
Goldman and he was the second son of Charles Tolbert "Chad" Goldman
and Ruby Forsythe. Our mother was Dorothy Dean Fowler Goldman and her
father was William Audie Fowler and her mother was Nettie Cranford. The
majority of our work will deal with the last names you see below and going
backward to the early 1700's and beyond.

A good place to start is to follow the hyper-link in this
box to some information, maps, pictures and other documentation put
together by Sandy. Sandy has done a wonderful job with this site! She has information
about our family in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kentucky, North Carolina and Pennsylvania

| Ruby has put together a huge amount of information about
the family. It will be placed on this web site in two different
forms. One form will be an outline form, it has just names and dates
of family member back to around 1700's in most cases. Then
other from will be a more detailed document using PDF files or standard
HTML, in which you will be able to find
additional information about an individual. Things like what they
worked at, church involvement, community work, ect. |
